Our Leadership Team has put the following processes & procedures in place:
We are implementing safety precautions so that we can continue the ability to provide the community with veterinary care. Failure to adhere to our policies may result in refusal of service or, in the worst case, temporary closure of Palisades Animal Clinic. In addition to our internal sanitation procedures included in the last email, we will be enacting the following policies starting March 19, 2020:
DO NOT come to the animal hospital if you a fever, cough, symptoms of sickness, have recently traveled, or have had exposure to someone who is ill. This includes if your pet has come into contact with anyone traveling. If your pet’s issue is an emergency, please ask a friend or neighbor to bring your pet in for you.
Before you arrive in Palisades Animal Clinic:
Plan to be at the hospital 10 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for check-in procedures which will happen outside with limited contact and exchange of paperwork and personal belongings.
Bring a cell phone as our staff and doctors will be communicating mostly by phone and from a reasonable distance.
Bring a credit card for payment at the time of service.
When you arrive:
Plan 15-20 minutes of extra time for check-in procedures
Please wait to be greeted by one of our staff members
Our staff will be asking for a cell phone number to use for contact during your visit
If you are dropping a patient off for surgery, drop off exam or boarding please be ready for a CSR to call you in order for them to fill out a form for services
If you do not have a card on file the cell phone number you provide will be called for the form of payment to be given
*If you are coming in for an exam or emergency we ask that only 1 person accompany your pet.
*We will only be scheduling urgent and emergency exams at this time. We ask that all wellness and annual exams wait until further notice.
*If you have a medication refill please call our office before coming in so we can have the prescription and payment ready before you arrive to pick up.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation during this time.
Your Palisades Animal Clinic Team.
